Once you've shared an article to your social network(s) using Clearview Social, our software will keep track of who is clicking on your content. We display that information in the article library on the Share Articles page and in the Recent Shares section of the Results page using a feature called Find Out Who.
How can I see who has viewed my content?
When you log into Clearview Social and visit the Results page, articles you have previously shared will show the networks to which you have shared and the number of clicks your article has received. If we are able to find the location of your readers, we include a Find Out Who button immediately below the click count. Simply click the button to view the organizations that have viewed your content.
Update: (as of May 2020) In compliance with GDPR regulations, Clearview Social is now detecting if an inbound request to our link forwarder comes from a country within the EU, if so, the link is anonymized or disregarded (depending on your tier level) to comply with regulations.
Does this show everyone that has viewed my content?
Unfortunately, we are unable to discover the location of every user that has clicked on your content. Many people browse through their home internet providers or at locations that are behind a firewall. Those internet connections are routed through central hubs that are indistinguishable from one another. In situations like this, we can only see that someone using "Cable Company X" has viewed your content, but not where they are located.
