Is there a topic or an idea that you have wanted to keep an eye on and you don't know just how to do that?

We want to show you how to do that with Google Alerts, RSS Feeds and Clearview Social.

First, navigate to google.com/alerts.

Then enter in a topic or prompt that interests you. This does not have to relate to your company or firm. It can be anything that interests you.

You can even adjust how often this alert gets sent to you by clicking on Show Options here.

In order to generate an RSS Feed, select Deliver to and select RSS Feed here:

Then click on "Create Alert".

You should then see this prompt here. Select the RSS Feed Icon.

You might see a lot of programming code on the next page, this is normal. What we need is the link that is shown here. This is what what we are going to take over to Clearview Social.

Now, with this link, we need to set up an RSS Feed. Back on the Clearview Social website, locate the Industry News section and click on Add a Feed here:

Please note that it might take a few moments for your new Google Alert to parse its information into your feeds. When it is ready to go, you will see it here:

Like with any other RSS Feed, you can follow and stop following this alert here and set up a schedule if you would like to have your alerts be sent to you in an email via a queue.

Then, once your keyword triggers, you will see those items generate in your feed and you can share that content with your team as normal.

Any Further Questions?
