From the RSS Feeds page, you can manage which sites are automatically fed into Clearview Social for use in Queues. It's recommended that you add all of your corporate blogs as feeds, as well as any related news sites that you might want to send out to your users.

Adding a Feed

To begin, click on the Add A Feed button at the top of the page. This will open up the form for adding a feed like so:

From here, you can select to add either an RSS Feed or a Manzama Content Feed.

Adding an RSS Feed

To add an RSS Feed, select "RSS Feed" from the feed options, and you will be presented with an input field.  In this box, paste the URL (aka link) for the feed you want to add. Note: this is not the URL of the site itself, but the direct link to the feed in XML format.

You can also add RSS Feeds into Industry News by selecting the Show in Industry News Feeds? checkmark box.

How do I find the link to my site's feed?

If you're using WordPress to power your site, your RSS feed URL will likely be your site name followed by /feed. For example, https://clearviewsocial.com/feed/ is Clearview Social's RSS feed. If you follow that link, you can see what a feed page usually looks like. Some browsers will show a feed subscription option if the browser has a built-in feed reader while others will show the raw XML code.

Usually, sites will list their RSS feed URL in the footer of the page. Often, this is accompanied by the standard orange-and-white RSS icon.

Adding a Manzama Content Feed

To add a Manzama Content Feed, select Manzama Feeds from the feed options, and you will be presented with a dropdown to select a feed category:

After selecting a content category, click Save to add the content feed or Cancel to close the dialog.

Limited Manzama Feeds

Note that you can only add three Manzama content feeds for your organization.  You can always remove an existing Manzama feed you previously added, then add a new one to replace it.

Administrating Feeds

Once added, your feed will show up on the feeds page like this:

To edit the feed, you can click on any of the groups shown or click on the ellipsis in the bottom right hand corner:

You can edit the feed URL on this screen if there's an error or change the name that is associated with the feed. This is the name that will show up in the Content Library dropdown menu when you go to build a Queue.

Automatic Queues From Feeds

From this screen, you also have the option to turn a feed into an automated Queue. To do this, select the second option under Automatic Queue Creation. You can target the feed to specific groups and choose which day(s) you would like the feed to be automatically sent out. Every article that has appeared in the feed up until the chosen day will be added to the automated Queue, which you can view and edit any time from the Build Queues page.

In the example above, articles are gathered from the Wall Street Journal Opinions section and sent out to the Marketing Team group every Monday.
