What are Badges?
We've created badges as a way to help users, both new and old, familiarize themselves with the Clearview Social software and introduce them to features they may not be aware of.
You will likely first notice our badges either when you next share (and earn your first badge) or visit the Results page (and notice your lack of badges).
On the Results page, you will see an area that will display your three most recently earned badges. (You can also snoop on what badges your coworkers have earned by clicking on their names in the Leaderboard.) If you're just starting out, this area will appear with three question marks until you earn your first badge.
Our Achievements and Badges system is constantly being worked on and updated to ensure that your time here with us is effective and fun. Earning your first badge can be as simple as visiting our Results, Leaderboard and Industry News pages or even linking one of your social media networks with us.
The Achievements Page
We have recently released two features to our gamification platform referred to as Experience Points and Streaks.
Previously, Admins and Users would earn badges via a badge tier system. We have decided to retire this system in favor of one where Admins and Users can unlock badges at their own pace. Admins and Users can earn experience points in a number of different ways, these include but are not limited to:
We are redesigning badges so that we can reward incremental progress. We are adding onto this the system of Streaks to help encourage long term use with our software. You earn medallions through Streaks by sharing consistently within Clearview Social. If you miss a day of sharing, you reset your progress.
If you want to check your progress and see what badges and achievements are available for you to earn, you can do so anytime from the Achievements page. Simply click the View Badges button on the Results page and you will be taken to the Achievements page.
When badges unlock, they will move to the top of your badge list as seen here.
Badges that have been earned will appear in color. Badges that have not been earned will be grayed out. You can mouse over each badge to learn more about each badge, what you need to do to earn it and how may points each badge are worth.
