We've created badges as a way to help users, both new and old, familiarize themselves with the software and introduce them to features they may not be aware of.
You will likely first notice our new badges either when you next share (and earn your first badge) or visit the Results page (and notice your lack of badges).
On the Results page, we've added a new area to display your three most recently earned badges. (You can also snoop on what badges your coworkers have earned by clicking on their names in the Leaderboard.) If you're just starting out, this area will appear with three question marks until you earn your first badge.
The first badge is the easiest to earn. All you have to do is share one article. Once you've successfully scheduled a share, you'll see a popup like this notifying you that you've earned your first badge.
The Badges Page
If you want to check your progress and see what badges are available for you to earn, you can do so anytime from the Badges page. Simply click the View Badges button on the Results page and you will be taken to the Badges page.
Badges are arranged in six categories. There are five levels of badges, which must be completed in order, starting at level one through to level five. There is a sixth category of miscellaneous badges that are earned based on special conditions. We'll discuss how to earn each badge in another article.
Badges that have been earned will appear in color. Badges that have not been earned but are available will appear in gray. You must complete all badges in a level to unlock the next level. Until then, all badges for that level will be hidden behind the lock icon.
You can hover over each badge to learn what must be done to earn that badge.
