Can you tag a piece of content you are sharing on LinkedIn?

The LinkedIn API previously did not support tagging. We have made improvements to our software recently so that admins can now create mentions within their queues. If you would like to learn more about this, you can read about Linkedin mentions here:

What about tagging on Twitter?

Yes, you can use the mention (@username) function as normal to tag a user through Twitter. When it comes to hashtags, it works the same way! Mentions and hashtags have to be in the Comment field of the Share Scheduler to appear on your share. Twitter does not support tagging someone in the article metadata, so don’t worry about it in the Title and Description fields.

...and Facebook?

Tagging people on Facebook is not currently supported through the Clearview site. However, hashtags are! You can hashtag your share through the Clearview site just as you would normally on Facebook! #clearviewrocks

Make sure to put your hashtags in the Comment field, just like with Twitter!

Clearview Social strives to stay on top of any future changes in API access and we will continue to evolve as these changes are made know to us.

Any Further Questions?

If there is anything else we can assist you with, you can contact Clearview Social Support either by emailing support@clearviewsocial.com or through the Intercom chat button in the bottom right of the site.
