The Builder might just be the most important Clearview Social feature. It's here that anyone can build posts for their personal social media accounts. Admins can also build Collections for corporate pages, and for their entire team to share. It all starts in the navigation pane on the left side of your Clearview Social account.

Personal and Corporate Posting - Users and Admin

If you're looking to share a post outside of the Collections you're being sent you'll want visit the Builder and click the Create a Post button in the top right corner. This will open a new blank post. *Admins- When clicking the Create Post button you'll be given the option to choose Company (posts for company social media pages pages) or Personal (posts for you personal networks).

Next, you'll want to decide which networks you want to share to. You can do this from the 'Share to' dropdown.

Adding Content

Now you're ready to build your post! There are several different ways to add content to your post:

  1. Pasting a URL in the URL slot to the right of the 'Share to' section is by far the most common way to share content.

  2. You can upload images or videos from your device.

  3. Your organization's media library might have images or videos to share.

  4. Browse through the RSS Feeds found at the right side of the page and add content from there.

  5. From your Feeds page you can scroll through content from your colleagues or from your company's corporate pages and reshare anything of relevance.

When you add content to a post, Clearview will try to pull an image, title, and description whenever possible. You have the ability to edit all post components before sharing. Finally, you'll want to add a caption. You can use the AI Caption writer to provide a foundation for your caption and/or add your personal touch.

Once you've ironed out the details you can share to your networks immediately, or schedule it to share in the future using one of the two buttons in the top right corner of the page. We highly suggest scheduling posts using Peaktime™; however, you do have the ability to edit the share time if you prefer.

When the post is scheduled, you can find and edit it from your Feeds (button at the top of the navigation pane), under My Hub, or in the Builder ().

Collections- Admins Only

Admins can build and share content to their networks (with the same workflow mapped out above) as well as build Collections, which can be sent to users or to corporate pages to share.

To begin building Collections to be shared to a corporate page you'll visit the Builder, then click Create Collection in the top right corner. You'll want to think of building a Collection like crafting an email. You'll need to do the following:

  1. Title the Collection (subject line).

  2. Decide if you want to schedule the Collection to be sent in the future.

  3. Choose which groups or corporate accounts you want the collection to send to.

  4. If sharing to your users, add a message directly to your users.

It's time to start adding content! For a list of ways to add content check out the subheading Adding Content above. As mentioned there is a long list of ways to add content to Collections, but there's one other way to add content that only admins have access to- content suggested from colleagues! That's right, users can help build company-wide collections by suggesting content. You can learn more about how to suggest content here. To add suggested content to your Collection, you'll want to look in the Content Library to the right of your screen.

Finally you'll want to Approve and Schedule or Approve and Send Now, both found in the top right corner of the page.

There are a lot of other fine details and opportunities to make your Collection truly shine. To learn more about how to build the best collection to meet your company's needs check out Best Practices for Creating Engaging Collections and Posts.

Take it Further

Okay, you've got the basics. Go out and build a Post or Collection. Better yet, try building a few. Once you've gotten the hang of it, see how you can fine-tune the experience through The Advanced Image Editor and using Native Video.
